Reggeli szoba-jóga után lementünk az étteremhez reggelizni. Feltűnt, hogy vannak majmok, bár először egy helyes kis gyíkot láttam meg. A pincérnők arcán egyre nagyobb rémületet láttam, ahogy a majmok száma egyre nőtt. Aztán mikor odajöttek, hogy a tányéromról elvegyék a gyümölcsöt, az már nekem sem volt nagyon vicces, Zoli próbált szembeszállni velük, de nem igazán reagáltak rá. Közben a kért segítség megérkezett egy kertész személyében, aki nekiállt csúzlival lövöldözni a majmokat, akik így arrébb haladtak és meg tudtunk majdnem nyugiban reggelizni.
Némi ejtőzés után mára pont a Majomerdő volt betervezve, ami gyalog távolságra van a hotelünktől. Lesétáltunk oda, bár bevallom némi félsz volt bennem a reggeli incidens után:) Az erdőben lépten-nyomon őrök voltak és vigyáztak a látogatókra. Volt egy kisfiú, aki valószínűleg nagyon megijedt a majmoktól, mert sikítva elkezdett rohanni, utána szaladt egy és lenyugtatta. Lehetett vásárolni selfie fotózás jegyet, amit vettünk is nekem. Nagyon cuki volt a majom és mintha tényleg ő fotózott volna.
Volt több templom is az erdőben, az egyik különösen megfogott, a Holy Spring. A környezete is ennek volt a legszebb a patakkal, banyan fákkal és hidakkal. Az egész erdő amúgy engem teljesen megfogott, a város közepén a dzsungelben vagy ősi templomokkal körbevéve. Minden zöld, a kövek is a mohától, van egy feelingje.
Pont ennél a templomnál volt nekünk is némi incidensünk a majmokkal, a Zolin levő hátizsák oldal zsebéből próbáltak lopni.
Mire körbejártuk az erdőt, elkezdett csepegni az eső, gyorsan kerestem egy helyet, ahová beülhetünk, a választás a Suka Espresso-ra esett, és milyen jól sikerült. Brutál finom vega és halas burgert ettünk, és mivel a csokis sütik már elfogytak, nagy duzzogva egy red velvet torta társaságában vártuk, hogy elálljon. Még kicsit szitált, ahogy elindultunk a hotelbe, de legalább kipróbáltuk a kiváló, helyben vásárolt esőkabátot.
Zoli úgy döntött, hogy pihen, így egyedül indultam el. A Subak Juwuk Manis úton végigsétáltam, ami a palota mellett kezdődött, eléggé sikátornak nézett ki, de aztán átalakult az út. Eleinte a házak mentén haladt, aztán kiért a rizsföldekre. Bár ki volt táblázva, hogy motorral ne menj arra, a helyieket ez természetesen nem zavarta. Az út végül visszakanyarodott a városba egy bevásárló utcára. Volt egy 
pad, ahol leülhettél és élvezhetted a kilátást.
Némi shopping és egy kávé után vissza a szállodába, ahol még úsztam egyet a medencében. Közben a kertben lakó macskákkal ismerkedtem, illetve figyeltem a vízre le-lecsapó denevéreket is.
A vacsi ma érdeklődés hiányában elmaradt

After the morning room-yoga, we went down to the restaurant for breakfast. I noticed there were monkeys, although at first I spotted a cute little lizard. I saw increasing panic on the waitresses’ faces as the number of monkeys grew. Then, when they came over to take the fruit off my plate, it wasn’t very funny for me anymore. Zoli tried to confront them, but they didn’t really respond to him. Meanwhile, the requested help arrived in the form of a gardener, who started shooting at the monkeys with a slingshot, so they moved away and we were able to have breakfast almost in peace.
After some lounging, the Monkey Forest was planned for today, which is within walking distance from our hotel. We walked there, although I admit I was a bit scared after the morning incident In the forest, there were guards everywhere watching over the visitors. There was a little boy who probably got very scared of the monkeys because he started running away screaming, and one of the guards ran after him and calmed him down. You could buy a selfie photo ticket, which we did for me. The monkey was very cute and it really seemed like it was the one taking the photo.
There used to be several temples in the forest, one of which particularly caught my attention, the Holy Spring. Its surroundings were the most beautiful, with a stream, banyan trees, and bridges. The whole forest captivated me; in the middle of the city, surrounded by jungle and ancient temples. Everything was green, even the stones were covered with moss, it had a certain feeling.
Right at this temple, we had a bit of an incident with the monkeys; they tried to steal from the side pocket of Zoli’s backpack.
By the time we finished walking around the forest, it started to drizzle, so I quickly looked for a place where we could sit down. We chose Suka Espresso, and it turned out to be a great choice. We ate a brutally delicious vegetarian and fish burger, and since the chocolate cakes were already gone, we sulked a bit while waiting with a red velvet cake for the rain to stop. It was still drizzling a little as we headed back to the hotel, but at least we got to try out the excellent raincoat we bought locally.
Zoli decided to rest, so I went out alone. I walked along Subak Juwuk Manis road, which started next to the palace and looked quite alley-like at first, but then the road changed. Initially, it ran along houses, then it led out to the rice fields. Although there was a sign prohibiting motorcycles, the locals naturally ignored it. The road eventually curved back into the city onto a shopping street. There was a bench where you could sit and enjoy the view.
After some shopping and a coffee, I returned back to the hotel, where I swam a bit in the pool. Meanwhile, I got to know the cats living in the garden and also watched the bats swooping down to the water.
Dinner was skipped today due to lack of interest
